For a long time, Wednesday was my favorite day of the week. Every Wednesday, the incredibly talented Jamie Ridler, of Jamie Ridler Studios, posted a Wishcasting prompt. A beautiful group of bloggers and readers came together to affirm, support, and share some love.
Jamie’s work has taken her far and wide, and Wishcasting has become a cherished memory for many of us. On so many Wednesdays, I miss it … and today, decided to make a wish.
I wondered what prompt I might give myself, hoping to be as spontaneous as possible. When I though of Jamie, I immediately thought of her dedication to overcoming her fear of flying, and decided on “What Do You Wish To Overcome”. (Jamie overcame her fear, and recently spent blissful days on a family adventure in Holland. You can read about her adventure here *Jamie’s Adventure!*)
So here’s to my Wishcast for October 29, 2014 ~
Wishcasting Wednesday: What Do You Wish To Overcome?
I have a confession to make. I am living small.
Since closing my beloved studio in July, I have rested, re-integrated, and ramped up my self-care. I am feeling well, and very much enjoying more time walking, doing yoga, and in sweet conversation with my husband.
It’s all beautiful, and still … I wish to overcome the smallness … the fear of rejection, the fear of not being enough for this big gorgeous world.
I wish to step up.
I wish to fully take in the sunshine and birdsong. I wish to fill my soul with the goodness with which I am so grace-fully surrounded, and hold onto that precious light for my highest good.
I wish to overcome excuses that hold me back … and make delicious use of each moment I’m given. I need me, and my family needs me.
I wish to stand firmly in my body, on this earth, and be prepared to make a difference.
I wish to live fully, this one life I’m given ~
With love and a heart full of creative wishes for you~
