Every Wednesday, the incredibly talented Jamie Ridler, of Jamie Ridler Studios, posts a Wishcasting prompt.
I’ve made a place, a beautiful page on my blog, to cradle my wishes and dreams.
Some weeks I answer her prompt, and some weeks I don’t quite get to it. On the days when I do make time to honor my wishes and dreams, they’ll be here, on the Wishcasting Wednesday page of my blog.
So here’s to my Wishcast for March 9, 2011 ~
Wishcasting Wednesday: What Gifts Do You Wish To Share?
This morning I am so grateful for Jamie, and for this Wishcasting Circle. Her question today is twofold. What are my gifts, and which of them do I wish to share?
A year ago, I might have had an idea what gifts were hidden, with the potential to someday be shared. I’ve worked hard for the past year … by hard I don’t mean in discomfort, I mean with delighted diligence.
I have developed channels and resources for expressing myself. I have come to know some of my gifts like lifelong friends, and am learning to freely share them.
I wish to share compassion and kindness. I wish to share creativity with anyone who cares to partake. I wish to share prayer and science working together in Healing Touch. I wish to share more of myself, and to shed a few more of the terra cotta tiles that form my protective walls.
I do fear that sometimes my eagerness to share looks like ego. Along with my sharing, I pray for a deeper understanding in relationships I build. Relationship with myself, with others on this journey, and with those who might be helped.
There is a point at which I allow myself to say, “Wow, I really do have gifts. I really can share, and help someone. How will they know my gifts if I keep them under a basket?” So, I learn the delicate dance of sharing, giving, and loving … of existing on the fringes of “attraction rather than promotion”. For I do have gifts to share.
I have so much love and gratitude for each of you ~ As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also.
Take good care ~
Love,
PS ~ It’s 11 a.m. on Wednesday morning now. I just watched Jamie’s interview on Laura Hollick’s Soul Art TV. It’s a beautiful interview. Here’s the link! 🙂
