Every Wednesday, the incredibly talented Jamie Ridler, of Jamie Ridler Studios, posts a Wishcasting prompt.
I’ve made a place, a beautiful page on my blog, to cradle my wishes and dreams.
Some weeks I answer her prompt, and some weeks I don’t quite get to it. On the days when I do make time to honor my wishes and dreams, they’ll be here, on the Wishcasting Wednesday page of my blog.
So here’s to my Wishcast for March 2, 2011 ~
Wishcasting Wednesday: What Limits Do You Wish ToSet?
I’m posting this early Thursday morning. Either I couldn’t sleep or I got up super-early ~ since I’m reading Louise Hay’s “You Can Heal Your Life”, I think should choose the latter.
I didn’t post a wish yesterday. I didn’t have time, or didn’t wish to limit myself. (I did, really enjoy visiting many of the other wishcasters though! ) I got up at 3:30. My mind was full of things to do, which is a little unusual for me. I’m generally able to put in a pretty full day and rest well at night.
In the wee hours, with my space heater and my grounding pad, I sat in the floor of my meditation room making a list of things to do, people to contact, books to read. It’s a beautiful list. I’m so happy to have made it. It gives me direction and focus for getting ready for Level 5 Healing Touch this summer.
When I finished with that list, I realized that there was more to add. I need to respond to a potential site for an art workshop in Raleigh. I need to set dates for community service. I need to edit my book for review … the list is unending. But I do love it!
As I indicated in my last post. There are things I’d do all day long, every day of the week for free (had I enough time and energy … whew) For now I’m doing my best to work them all in. I’m working on working on getting everything accomplished so that I can offer more painting workshops, and so that I will be prepared for Healing Touch Certification later this year.
It’s all a process, and I love every minute I spend doing this work … these varied tasks.
So, I now have ‘due dates’ for accomplishing each thing. I’ve set mini-milestones for myself.
My wish this week is to limit my distractions . I wish to attend these next few months as if I were in an intensive college course. Both of my sisters are in school. My ‘big’ sister is working toward her LPN. My ‘little’ sister is taking a rigorous computer class. I respect and admire both of them. So now, I’m in class, too.
Time and attention for my family, my self care, and attention to my schedule ~ everything else, including my contributions for the greater good, will fall gently, beautifully, and peacefully into place.
So, what limits do you wish to set?
Leave a comment below…who knows, you may feel inspired to start your own Wishcasting page.
Thank you, so much, for stopping by today. I’m really glad you’re here.
PS ~ I just noticed that this is my 100th post 🙂
PSS ~ It’s almost 8 a.m. now, and I just picked my Saints and Angels card for this morning. It was the “Confidence” card: “Archangel Michael is with you, shoring up your confidence so that you can fearlessly face (and even enjoy) the tasks before you. This archangel is protecting you against negativity, helping you to remain optimistic and filled with faith, and ensuring that only people and situations of high integrity come to you.
Have confidence in God’s power to keep you safe and secure. As you enter into a new phase of your life, it’s natural to feel intimidated by change. You may worry whether you’re prepared and qualified for what’s ahead of you. Remember, though, that God won’t bring you anything that you’re unable to do. Heaven also ensures that you have powerful companions, such as Archangel Michael, to help you in all ways.”
